The tutorial
Haverton University teaches by a prepared essay and a dialogue with a tutor. The method belongs to this university. It is held at Du Cane Rd, and on the online pathway to the same regulations.
The essay
Each week the student writes to a set question. Assessment begins before the meeting. The question is published in the paper guide.
The hour
One student, or a pair, defends the argument with a tutor. The hour is a dialogue. It is not a lecture recap and it is not a group seminar unless the paper says so.
The record
Written work, the tutorial report, and the degree transcript form the academic file. Each certificate carries a public verification link.
Where it is held
Residence at Du Cane Rd uses the published campus fee. The student-visa route is described on the immigration pages.
The online pathway keeps the same essays. Degree tuition is £0. Online study does not itself require a UK visa.
